Choosing a color that is in harmony with the color of your Prom dress is important, but choosing the right style is also very important.
When selecting your shoes for your prom, make sure that you will be comfortable. Those killer 6 inch heels may make you look great, but not if you're walking around barefoot one hour into the evening.
The heel height is measured to the inside of the heel and not the back. When you purchase a 2 ¾ inch heel it actually measures closer to 3 inches.
It's wise to wear your shoes several times before prom night to be sure they'll be comfortable. Be cautious about thin straps that can dig in after a few dances.
If you have big feet, avoid light colored or white shoes. Instead chose a color that doesn't call attention to itself.
